on June 5th, 2019, CFL signed a cooperative agreement with the Intellectual Property Publishing House and Language Service Competence Accumulation and Training (LSCAT) for building a training base to share resources and seek mutual development. This training base is an excellent platform for our MTI students to engage in translation practice and studies on which their thesis will be based. The signing ceremony was attended by Hu Xinhua, director of Translation Department of Intellectual Property Publishing Co., Ltd., Shi Xueling, deputy director of LSCAT, Guo Shanshan, project coordinator of LSCAT, prof. Yan Guodong, dean of CFL, prof. Ma Hongqi, deputy dean of CFL, and prof. Wang Chuanying, deputy director of MTI Education Center.
The three sides exchanges views on how to improve the processs of translation practice for our students from MTI Department, the English Department, and the Translation Department. They also discussed how to add courses for the MTI students guided by the college-enterprise cooperative training mode. During the discussion, prof. Wang Chuanying presented what we had achieved in building a training base with the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and shared the experience we had obtained from it. Moreover, the three sides elaborated on teacher training, project management, and practical training.
Prof. Ma signed cooperative agreements with director Hu Xinhua and deputy director Shi Xueling, which will contribute to the training base establishment for our MTI students and the college-enterprise cooperation.
