Principal of MTI of our College Attended BFSU’s Inaugural Ceremony of Japanese Language College & the Top Education Forum on MTI in Japanese

On March 10th, Wang Kai and Zhen Lin were invited to attend BFSU’s inaugural ceremony of Japanese Language College & the top education forum on MTI in Japanese in Beijing. Wang Kai is deputy dean of our college, deputy director of Japanese Language Department and principal of MIT while Dr. Zhen Lin is a senior teacher of our MTI in Japanese.

On behalf of our college, Mr. Wang sent tremendous congratulations to BFSU on its establishment of the Japanese language department. He then introduced our college’s different disciplines and the ideals of running MTI in Japanese as well its history and development on the top education forum. He believed that, in e0stablishing MTI in Japanese, we should attach great significance to our national strategies and concentrate on solving the problems occurring in the development of our own society. He further stressed that it was essential to build regional MTI education networks both at home and abroad and to stimulate the sharing of education resources. Moreover, he suggested that China and Japan should enhance cooperations and communications to develop MTI so as to provide more qualified MTI talents in exploring the third-party markets in other countries around the world.

On the forum many other issues were heatedly discussed like how to set MTI curriculum, how to train the MTI talents and how to manage such a discipline well. Many experts exchanged their ideas with each other.

The Japanese Language College, which was newly established at the end of 2018should seek its origin in the Japanese Language Department of Foreign Language College. This forum was sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Japanese embassy in China, Japan culture center in Beijing by Japan foundation, foreign language teaching and research press and many other organizations. Present on the forum were principals and professors of MTI from those famous universities around Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, like Peking University, University of International Business and Economics, University of International Relations, China foreign Affairs University and so on.
