Students in NKU Won the Award in The Sixth IBZ Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Speech Contest


On November 28, the sixth IBZ Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region speech contest was held in Beijing International Studies University. Liu Yumeng, who represented NKU, ranked second in the contest.

This contest is of great significance for German majors. Some 22 students from universities such as Nankai University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Renmin University of China, University of International Business and Economics, China University of Political Science and Law participated in the finals.

The competition is divided into two parts: keynote speech and impromptu speech. After two rounds of fierce competitions, Liu Yumeng won the second place by virtue of his accurate grasp of the propositions and his solid language skills.

It is reported that German Department of our school attaches great importance to the specific works of professional events. From the collection of information and selection of players to the competition training and tournament guidance, the department has formed a sound system to promote studying with competition and improve students’ professional standards .
