College of Foreign Languages in Nankai University Signed Student Exchange Agreement with University of Mainz, Germany.

Recently, College of Foreign Languages in Nankai University signed student exchange agreement with University of Mainz, Germany. The two sides agreed to carry out multi-level exchanges project between students.

According to the exchange agreement, each year five students can be exchanged. Students in College of Foreign Languages can study English to German translation, French to German translation and Chinese German translation at the Translation College of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.

Built in 1477, Mainz Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is named after the famous typographer Gutenberg. It located in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, with about 34,000 Students, ranking tenth among German university, and is with granted doctorate position. The Translation Institute is the sixth college in the university, located in Germersheim, Germany’ university town.

College of Foreign Languages in Nankai University has always attached great importance to internationalization and endeavored to expand the fields and scope of cooperation at the college level under the framework of university-level cooperation. We have built cooperative relationship with five university in Germany in college-level currently, namely Heidelberg University, University of Munich, Siegen University, University of Jena and Zwickau University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Mainz is the 6th partner with us.
